These terms apply when you download, buy, or use Budget Blueprint. In plain language: you are buying a licence to use the app on your own computer, it is a one-time purchase, there is no subscription, and your budget data stays on your device.
Budget Blueprint is a Windows desktop application published by CMW Digital ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Oregon, USA. You can reach us at support@cmwdigitalmedia.com. In these terms, "the app" means Budget Blueprint, and "you" means the person who downloads, buys, or uses it.
By downloading, installing, buying, or using Budget Blueprint, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally able to enter into a contract where you live, to buy a licence.
Budget Blueprint comes in the editions below. Every paid edition is a one-time purchase. We do not offer subscriptions and we will never bill you on a recurring basis.

Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, in US dollars. We run promotional pricing from time to time; the price that applies to you is the one displayed at checkout when you buy. A later price change, up or down, never affects a purchase you have already made. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
When you buy a paid edition, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Budget Blueprint. You may install and use the app on computers you personally own or control, for your own household's budgeting.

We own the app and everything in it. This licence gives you the right to use Budget Blueprint; it does not transfer ownership of it to you.
Paid editions bought from our website are unlocked with a licence key sent to you by email straight after purchase. Activation happens once, online. After that the app runs offline — it does not need an internet connection to keep working. Keep your key somewhere safe: it is your proof of purchase and how you reactivate the app if you reinstall or move to a new computer. If a key is shared publicly or used in breach of these terms, we may deactivate it.
Copies bought through the Microsoft Store are unlocked by your Microsoft account and do not use a licence key.
A Lifetime licence entitles you to every future version of Budget Blueprint at no extra cost, for as long as we continue to publish the app. There is nothing further to pay, ever.
To be straight with you about the limits of that promise: "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not a guarantee that we will publish Budget Blueprint forever. If we ever stop developing the app, your licence keeps working — you simply stop receiving new versions, because there are none. A Lifetime licence covers Budget Blueprint itself; it does not automatically include separate products we may release under a different name.
Editions that include voice entry let you add budget items by speaking instead of typing. The feature is optional, and it is the only part of the app that needs an internet connection.
If you never use voice entry, the app runs entirely on your device.
You can buy Budget Blueprint from our website, where payment and delivery are handled by our payment provider, or through the Microsoft Store. Website purchases are delivered by email immediately after payment: a download link for the Windows installer and your licence key. Nothing is shipped and there is no waiting period.
Purchases made through the Microsoft Store are also governed by Microsoft's terms, and are delivered through the Store.
Purchases made on our website are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee — if you are not happy, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Budget Blueprint is a tool for organising your own money. It records what you tell it and does arithmetic on it. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing it shows you — including projections such as the debt payoff simulator — is advice or a promise about your financial future. Those figures are estimates based on the numbers you enter. Decisions about your money are yours, and for anything significant you should speak to a qualified professional.
The budget information you enter stays on your device. We do not collect it, and you do not create an account. The one exception is optional voice entry. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
Because your data lives on your computer, backing it up is your responsibility. We cannot recover budget data from a lost, damaged, or wiped device.
We release updates from time to time to fix problems and add features. The version installed from our website may check cmwdigitalmedia.com for the current version number so it can tell you when an update is available; that check does not send any of your information. We may add, change, or remove features as the app develops.
We work hard to make Budget Blueprint accurate and reliable, and we want you to be happy with it. That said, the app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of every defect.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CMW Digital will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost savings, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of your use of Budget Blueprint.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for your licence.
You can stop using Budget Blueprint at any time by uninstalling it. We may deactivate a licence key that has been shared, resold, or used in serious breach of these terms. If we do, your right to use the paid edition ends, though you are welcome to carry on with the free edition.
If we change these terms, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Changes apply going forward, not retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
